Discover the thrill of our Desert Nomad Experience — a 6-day adventure of adrenaline-pumping dune bashing, timeless camel rides, and unforgettable desert landscapes. Crafted for explorers at heart, every moment is designed to ignite your spirit of adventure.
The trek begins with an early wake-up and breakfast under the large bivouac tent. After preparing the tents and loading the camels, the caravan departs at 9:00 a.m. The morning consists of a two-and-a-half-hour walk leading to the palm grove, where lunch is served. Following some rest, the journey continues for another two and a half to three hours across dunes and desert landscapes before reaching Sidi Naji, home to the mausoleum of the Marabout of the Nouaji tribe. Here, camp is set up for the night, either under the stars or in tents.
After breakfast, the group leaves Sidi Naji for a three-hour walk across clay plains alternating with small dunes. Lunch is taken under tamarisk trees in the heart of the dunes. The day ends at Azmaila, where dinner is served and the night is spent in tents or under the open desert sky.
The day’s journey leads to the majestic dunes of Erg Zahar. After a five-hour walk, the group sets camp at the foot of the dunes and enjoys lunch around midday. The afternoon is free to rest, explore the dunes, or climb to the top for panoramic views. As the sun sets, everyone gathers to admire the spectacle before returning to camp for dinner, a convivial evening by the fire, and a night spent in tents or beneath the stars.
At sunrise, the caravan sets off along the dry bed of the Draa River, walking for about two hours before reaching Erg Smar, an abandoned village half-buried in sand and surrounded by tamarisk trees. After crossing to the other side of the Draa, lunch is served in the shade of the tamarisk. A short afternoon walk leads to the dunes of Lahdaibat, near Nabkate Sidi Tayab, where camp is established for the night.
The morning walk begins through small dunes towards Lebore, where lunch is taken. After a short rest, the group continues across dunes to reach Bertham, where camp is set up for the night.
On the final day, camp is raised and the caravan walks from Bertham to Mzouaria, stopping for lunch. After a brief rest, the trek concludes with a return to the fixed bivouac at M’hamid, where the journey ends with a well-deserved evening of rest.
