The adventure begins with a morning departure from M’hamid at 9:00 a.m. Accompanied by camels, your guide, and the camel driver, you set out on foot for a full day of hiking across the desert. Lunch is enjoyed in the palm grove of Ras Nekhale, a tranquil stop beneath the shade of the palms. In the afternoon, the trek continues through small dunes until reaching Douib, a beautiful spot where camp is prepared for the night. Dinner is served under the stars, and the evening is spent in the peaceful silence of the desert.
After breakfast, the trek continues with another half day’s walk, offering time to admire the majestic simplicity of the desert and soak in its magnificent scenery. Around midday, the group pauses for lunch and rest near the small dunes of Lebour. The afternoon walk leads gently back toward M’hamid, where the trek concludes in the late afternoon at the fixed bivouac, with time to relax and reflect on the journey.
