The adventure begins in the afternoon with a 4×4 departure from M’hamid around 2:00 p.m. The drive follows desert tracks for about two hours, including a stop at the Sacred Oasis, a peaceful spot shaded by palm trees. By late afternoon, you arrive at the spectacular dunes of Erg Chegaga, the largest dune field in Morocco. A short 30-minute walk takes you to the top of the highest dune, where you can admire the magical sunset over the endless desert. Afterward, return to camp for mint tea, traditional songs with darbouka drums, dinner, and an overnight stay in a nomad tent at Chegaga Star Camp Lodge.
After breakfast, set off in a 4×4 excursion across the dunes, enjoying a picnic in the heart of the desert while taking in the vast landscapes and silence of the Sahara. In the afternoon, return to camp to relax. Later, a camel ride takes you deeper into the dunes to watch the sunset, accompanied by an aperitif on the sand. The evening continues at the camp with dinner, music, and another night under the desert sky at Star Camp Lodge.
